Graduated in Medicine from the State University of Londrina (1984); Specialist in Pediatrics, Pediatric Nephrology and Pediatric Intensive Care; Master's degree in Medical Sciences from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2004). Head of the Pediatric Intensive Care Service (1991-1995 / 2008-2011); President of the Santa Catarina Society of Intensive Care (1995-1997 and Vice President in the administrations from 1998 to 2002; President of the Santa Catarina Society of Pediatrics (1996-1998 / 2004-2005); Currently a doctor at the Hospital Infantil Joana de Gusmão, Assistant Professor Level 3 of the Health Sciences Center of the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Discipline of Pediatric Nephrology since 2007; President of the Department of Nephrology of the Brazilian Society of Pediatrics (2010-2012) and Advisor to the International Society of Pediatric Nephrology; Coordinator of the Residency Program Doctor in Pediatric Intensive Medicine at Hospital Infantil Joana de Gusmão and President of the Miguel Salles Cavalcanti Study Center. She has experience in the area of Medicine, with an emphasis on Pediatric Nephrology and Pediatric Intensive Care, working mainly on the following topics: acute renal failure, infection urinary tract, arterial hypertension and sedation and analgesia.
